my purpose.
When my husband and I decided to start IVF, I did a lot of research on various platforms looking for support. I wanted to understand what we were getting ourselves into and I found community in YouTube, Facebook groups and other outlets. I also realized that the infertility space is underrepresented in the African-American community and this led me to want to advocate more for women of color, as a whole, in this space. The journey to parenthood is convoluted and unique for everyone and any support I can provide to those along the way is a passion of mine that I will always stand up for.
